The Masjid Abu Bakr Project is an initiative of the Islamic Dawah Centre of Australia (IDCA), a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Islamic teachings and supporting the Muslim community in Australia. For over 26 years, IDCA has been a beacon of compassion, knowledge, and community service.

Our vision for the future is centred around the Masjid Abu Bakr Project, which will be the heart of our community. Where the beautiful message of Islam continues to come to life, and everyone can thrive together, in shaa Allah.

Mission

The Islamic Dawah Centre of Australia is dedicated to serving our community with the teachings of Islam. We seek Allah’s pleasure through obeying Him and upholding the values taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
By establishing Masjid Abu Bakr, we strive to embody these values in all we do. Grounded in unity, compassion, and faith, we aim to significantly enhance our educational outreach, worship, community engagement, education, and dawah, reflecting our commitment to a shared, purposeful future in Shaa Allah.
